Johnson’s Natural Baby Care

Five years ago when we decided to “go green” we knew it was going to have to be a gradual thing.  We used up cleaning products laden with chemicals instead of tossing them and we replaced them with green alternatives. We used reusable bags and figured out ways to recycle items beyond bottles and cans.  When it came to buying healthier products for my baby and ourselves it was a bit tougher.  The products I wanted and needed were not available at my local store and buying them was often costly.  I ended up making many things myself.

Fast forward to today and the addition of two more kids and a greener life. We find it easier than ever to go green.  Johnson’s Natural Baby Care made up of 98% naturally derived plant and fruit materials is one of those ways.  Still keeping the no-tears formula that families love, the Natural Baby Care line includes a lotion, foaming baby wash and baby shampoo. There is also a kid line now.  All of them contain no parabens, dyes, animal byproducts, silicones, lanolin, paraffin (wax), petrolatum, phthalates or essential oils.  The products are gentle on baby’s skin and have a light scent that doesn’t overpower and is also naturally derived.  The soap won’t dry their skin out and the lotion is a light but moisturizing formula that won’t leave your baby or toddler feeling greasy.

Even better is that the products are affordable.  There isn’t a lot of money going around these days.  We use coupons, budget and watch what we spend.  So does everyone else and we want our money to work for us.  Using Johnson’s Natural Baby Care products ($5-7) is easy because they are available at your local drugstore, grocery store and big box retailers like Target and Walmart.

So while going green may seem hard at first you know that Johnson’s Natural Baby Care products will make taking those steps a bit easier.  And that is really what it is all about, taking small steps to make a big impact over time.
