Hampton Inn & Suites, Colorado Springs/I-25

If you are headed to Colorado Springs in the near future and need a place to stay a good bet is the Hampton Inn & Suites in Colorado Springs.  Located off I-25 this hotel is right near the Olympic Training Center and surrounded by restaurants and shopping.  It has a central location to the Colorado Springs airport and the downtown area and is only 13 miles from Pikes Peak.

This Hampton Inn & Suites is clean and looks just like new.  It features morning coffee in your room and the expected Hampton Inn’s free hot breakfast in decent size eating area with newspapers and flat screen televisions.  Free high-speed internet is available 24/7 in each room as well as a business center.  The service here was friendly and always willing to help.  Parking is ample and events can be thrown inside the hotel or outdoors too. While I was there a reunion of sorts was going on with an outdoor barbecue.

The rooms at this Hampton Inn are spacious and clean.  Each room features a flat screen TV, a large workstation with ample outlets, fluffy towels with a WaterPik shower and white, soft bed linens.  I was happy with my room here.  The hotel was quiet while I stayed here and there is a small store for food, a pool and a laundry room.  This also makes it a great place to stay with kids of all ages.

The World Arena, where you can attend Colorado College hockey games, concerts, sporting and family events is located next door and you can also walk to a movie theater and some restaurants and shopping.  Nearby is the Garden of the Gods Park, historic Manitou Springs and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.  It is a very scenic place with the Royal Gorge Bridge and Seven Falls.  It is also perfect for those visiting the United States Air Force Academy and Fort Collins.

If you are staying in the Colorado Springs area for vacation or business the Hampton Inn & Suites is a good place to rest, work and enjoy your time in the area.  The TripAdvisor review is located here.
