Vermont Soap’s Honey Love Beauty Mask

I hadn’t tried any of Vermont Soap’s products before but I was eager to test out their Honey Love Beauty Mask.  Made only three organic ingredients: organic honey, organic vegetable glycerin and organic lavender oil it is an interesting mask to use.  Made from nontoxic honey (a natural exfoliator) and vegetable glycerin it proves to be an interesting mixture when applied to your skin.  I mean this in the best way.

Vegetable glycerin is a natural emollient that re-hydrates it while lavender oil not only offers a natural fragrance but aromatherapy and aesthetics.  This mask is gluten-free and contains no preservatives or artificial colors. All fantastic things in my world.  What is different from a regular honey mask is that it isn’t sticky.  Initially it feels a bit tacky but it rinses clean and easy and doesn’t have quite the sticky factor that a regular dose of honey to the face would.  It simply calms and moisturizes your skin without any irritation.  You can leave it on for five minutes or up to an hour.  The longer you leave it on the better the exfoliation.  Your skin will feel softer and brighter afterwards.  At least that is how I felt after leaving it on for 15 minutes.

Honey Love Beauty Mask is offered in a 2.5 ounce bottle ($12.48) and a 1.5 ounce bottle ($7.98). It is available for purchase online at www.vermontsoap.com, at health food stores and other venues everywhere.
