Freeman Acai Facial Purifying Clay Mask

Years ago the skincare aisle at CVS was like Mecca to me.  Particularly the shelf that held all the Freeman facial products.  It’s been a while since I have used them so I was interested to see what the Freeman Acai Facial Purifying Clay Mask ($3.99) with Mega 8 Complex was all about.  Loaded with 8-nutrient rich fruits, including Cranberry, Gogi berry, Blueberry, Mango, Mangosteen and Noni it helps to detoxify and purify the skin.

How did it work out?  Every Saturday I exfoliate and do a facial mask.  This one helps to draw out impurities and clean out clogged pores.  It works on all skin types and helps with environmental damage on your skin.  This is a clay mask that is super oil absorbing and works in about 15-20 minutes.  All you need to do is apply it to clean, dry skin and let it dry.  Wash it off with warm water and see brighter skin.

I will say that if you have dry skin or even partially dry skin this might not be the best mask for you.  I applied it to my T-zone only because it would just dry out my cheeks.  I love using clay masks because they really do draw out the bad stuff and leave skin feeling refreshed.   This one left my skin dry and during the wait it burned my eyes a bit.  After washing my skin was drier than I would like.  However, it did look brighter.

Made in America and cruelty-free Freeman’s Acai Facial Purifying Clay Mask can be purchased at your local Walmart, Target or CVS.
