POWDERWorks the Rolling Facial Exfoliant

I’m a bit obsessed with exfoliants.  They are one of my favorite quick beauty fixes and one I like to indulge and luxuriate in as well, when I have the time. I’m always looking for something new and when POWDERWorks facial exfoliant came up for review I jumped on it.

This powder-based exfoliant is easy to use and doesn’t leave behind any residue.  It is all-natural, made for all skin types, especially sensitive skin, won’t clog your pores and is made from a patent pending one-of-a-kind rolling action technology.  Held in a shaker (packaging is 100% recyclable) all you need to do is lightly dampen your clean face, shake the powder onto your fingertips and then massage it into your face in a circular motion.  Then just rinse and pat dry.  Skin is left looking brighter and feeling smoother.  You can use it up to twice a week.

I love that it doesn’t irritate your skin and rinses clean without any fuss.  It isn’t messy like I originally thought it might be with grains falling or getting on the bathroom counter.  It reminds me of a product I used in high school made from azuki beans that was a lot more gritty than POWDERWorks.  It’s gentle enough to use on the backs of your hands too.  That’s my favorite use for it.

POWDERWorks ($39) is available online at thepowderworks.com.  It is made from Calcium Carbonate (absorbs excess oil and lifts only the dead skin layer) Hydrolyzed Collagen (plumps the skin, and reduces pore size), Calcium Magnesium Carbonate (to energize and hydrate healthy surface cells for  brighter skin) Mixed Tocopherols with Vitamin E (reduce the onset of acne and moisturize the skin) and Aloe ( for hydrating, helps promote healing from mild acne scaring.)
