Mary Kay TimeWise Repair Eye Renewal Cream & Moisture-Renewing Gel Mask

Fun Find-   The older I get the more my skin tends to freak out. It doesn’t matter the weather but it can be oily and dry all at the same time or even one or the other.

I was a bit at my wit’s end recently with my skin. It was drying out along the nostrils, mouth area and cheekbones but the rest of my face was fine.  I needed something more than day and night cream.   The Mary Kay Moisture-Renewing Gel Mask ($20) came out of its box.  At first I kind of balked at it.  I kept thinking of the gel masks from my teen years that I would put on and then peel off like skin.  They just dried me out despite their supposed moisturizing properties.  This is not like that at all.  You can leave the Mary Kay gel mask on for 10 minutes or overnight.  It’s been an answer to my prayers!  I put it on once a week at night and just pat it on my face.  It seeps in and isn’t sticky.  About 20 minutes later I go to bed and wash it off the next morning for evenly moisturized skin that also looks brighter. I love it!!

I’ve been using the Mary Kay TimeWise Repair Eye Renewal Cream ($40) (that’s a mouthful!) about a month now and it helps to reduce the puffiness around my eyes and even the dark circles.  There is a zamac metal applicator tip that you can use to gently massage under the eye to help reduce the puffiness.  I haven’t used it because I don’t like to rub the eye area at all if I can help it but I can see how it would be cooling to the skin.  It is a thick cream that moisturizes well and has no fragrance.

Mary Kay products can be purchased online through an Independent Beauty Consultant.
